Allure Beauty Box

It’s no mystery that I love the Allure Beauty Box. I raved about it on this blog post back in March when I first started blogging! Since I haven’t written about Allure in a hot minute, I thought that I would take the time to do so in this blog post!

I have a yearly subscription that costs me $150 annually. You have the option to subscribe on a monthly basis and pay $15 a month until you want to cancel, but trust me, you won’t want to cancel this subscription box! What I love about Allure is that they rarely ever disappoint. Unlike many other subscription services in the beauty game, I find myself using every single product that I receive. When I was subscribed to another very popular beauty subscription service, I was disappointed almost every month because of how small the sample sizes were. I respect Allure for not throwing in products that you can only use once, it allows you to really get a feel for if you like the product or not! Every month you receive at least 5 products, I think one month I received 7!!

This month I received both a shampoo and conditioner from Nexxus for damage healing hair. Nexxus hair products are phenomenal and professional grade products! When I travel I bring products like this with me so that I can test them out but also not have to worry about packing a big bottle of shampoo or conditioner. Although I have not gotten the chance to use these hair products, they do smell quite amazing!

The first thing that I saw when I opened the box was the Caudalie Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet. I have gotten to use this moisturizer a few times since receiving the box and I am ready to go to Sephora and pick up a full-size bottle. I have dry skin and am extremely picky with my skincare but the gel-like texture felt wonderful on my skin – I felt my skin being replenished as I rubbed it in. This isn’t a product that is super heavy either which I enjoy, it is very light but still extremely hydrating. Perfect for those who are experiencing dry or dull skin!

The next product that I was excited to see in this months box was the Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eyeliner. Eyeko can be purchased at Ulta for $22. I enjoy Eyeko liners and this one did not disappoint. It gives a very bold and precise line and applies very smooth onto the eyelid!

I was a little disappointed to see that I received a sample of the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask just because I already purchased the full-size product. I don’t think that I could recommend a better product for your lips – Laneige did a wonderful job with this product and I am so impressed. I lather my lips up with this product before bed ( I love the smell of it ) and when I wake up the next morning my lips are soft and supple. I can’t wait to try this out during the fall/winter to see how it really works when I need it the most 🙂

Something wonderful about the Allure Beauty Box is that you get the chance to try out products from brands that you may not have heard of before. This month I received the Laritzy Cosmetics Light Stix in Halo. The highlighter stick looks like a peachy champagne color but when it is applied to the skin it gives off a beautiful golden shine. This is extremely creamy and more on the side of a natural highlight but truly works wonders! I truly appreciated that the highlighter didn’t accentuate any of the texture on my skin.

So that is what I got in my August Allure Beauty Box! Do you feel tempted now to go and get an Allure beauty box subscription?? You won’t regret it 🙂 If you got this months box, let me know what you think of it!

If you love my content, feel free to show me some love and buy me a coffee I would truly appreciate it! ♥
